Award-Winning Staff
Staff at Mt. Seymour Preschool are dedicated professionals whose skills have been recognized through the receipt of awards of excellence.
In 2006 Bev Superle was awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Excellence in Early Childhood Education. The $5000 award, in addition to grant money from the provincial government, allowed the three staff members to attend a week long study tour of the early childhood centers in Reggio Emilia, Italy in April 2008.
In 2007 Bev received the B.C. Minister's Award for Early Childhood Education from the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
In 2009 Nonie Meger received the B.C. Child Care Award of Excellence from the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
