To provide a safe, secure, respectful and nurturing environment where each child feels free to seek knowledge about their world and their place in it. We believe that play with peers is an important way that children learn about themselves and the world, so we strive to provide rich and varied play experiences.
We encourage the development of deep and meaningful relationships between peers and between children and teachers by providing many opportunities for social interaction and discussion as effective ways for children to learn to understand and deal with their feelings and to respect those of others.
Respectful guidance from teachers helps children gain independence, self confidence, self control and a sense of personal and social responsibility.

Our curriculum planning considers and respects each child as an individual. We build much of the curriculum from children’s interests and experiences so learning is relevant to the children. Curriculum meets the needs of the whole child and includes experiences in the social, intellectual, emotional and physical realm.
We provide opportunities for children to investigate and experiment with their ideas by working independently and collaboratively with peers. We provide quality materials so children can communicate their ideas and knowledge in a visible manner through painting, drawing, clay work and discussion with small and large groups of peers.
