Registration

Registration is now open for the upcoming 2019/2020 preschool year. Please complete our Waitlist Application Form and forward it to mtseypreschool@gmail.com or contact us with the required information from the document above.

Registration Process

We will begin to fill spaces in February, beginning with currently registered children, siblings and alumni families, followed by public waitlisted families shortly after our annual Open House, for the upcoming preschool year which starts in September. Registration will occur in the order of placement on our waitlist and will be processed once you have returned your Registration Package in full, including required payments. Priority will be given to children currently registered in one of our programs, siblings of current families, and alumni families.

Please note that we will only accept Waitlist Applications during the year your child turns 2 years of age. Applications will not be accepted prior to the year they turn 2 years old and you will be required to reapply.

Withdrawl Policy

We understand that circumstances may change for your child or family during the course of the school year. However, as a non-profit society, we rely on student fees to operate the preschool and empty spaces significantly impact the preschool’s finances. In the event that you need to withdraw your child, we require notice in writing (or by email) at least one full calendar month in advance (eg. notice given October 15th will be effective December 1st). Provided sufficient notice is given in writing, you will not be responsible for monthly fees after the effective date of withdrawal.

 

Because of the difficulty in filling spaces at the preschool for a short period, withdrawals will not be permitted for the months of May and June. The last date for withdrawal for the current school year will therefore be March 31st (for withdrawal effective May 1st).

 

This policy applies to all withdrawals after a registration package has been submitted (ie. notice must be given in writing by no later than July 31st if your child will not be attending the preschool in September). If sufficient notice is not provided, your security deposit will be retained by the preschool.

 

In no circumstances will the non-refundable registration fee be returned.

 

In the event of exceptional circumstances, this policy may be waived at the discretion of the Board of Directors. We encourage you to contact the Board of Directors through the preschool regarding your specific circumstances.
